Laurinda Pang, formerly chief human resources officer at Level 3 Communications firm, will succeed Thomas Stortz as executive vice president and chief administrative officer, the company said Tuesday.
In her new role, Pang will be responsible for global company functions to include human resources, corporate strategy, corporate development, corporate communications and corporate social responsibility.
Jeff Storey, president and CEO at Level 3, said the company sought Pang to help grow its strategic functions in support of profitable growth.
Pang has been with the company since 1994 and has previously served as VP of customer experience re-engineering and VP of investor relations.
John Ryan, EVP, chief legal officer and assistant secretary at Level 3, will succeed Stortz as the company’s secretary.
