F16FleetLockheed Martin recently flew the first of 36 F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft that the Iraqi air force procured through the Defense Department‘s Foreign Military Sales program.

The aerospace company said Wednesday it has sold more than 4,540 F-16 Block 52 multi-role fighter jets, including the recent sale to Iraq.

All versions of the aircraft are due for upgrades, with the production line running through 2017.
