SAP AG has unveiled a patient relationship management service offering that the company designed to help healthcare providers address patient requirements.
The integrated tool contains patient administration and billing features from the SAP Patient Management application, SAP said Wednesday.
Martin Kopp, vice president of industry business services for healthcare providers at SAP, said the company aims to help patients participate in the treatment process in order to achieve “better health outcomes.”
SAP aims for healthcare providers to customize patient treatments and analyze the service’s performance through the SAP patient management tool.
The healthcare service includes a call center staff to interact with patients, an online interaction center with mobile services and social media analysis work.
