CACI International will provide lifecycle support for the Guardrail/Common Sensor airborne location and dissemination system under a potential 30-month, $41 million contract with the U.S. Army‘s project manager for sensor-aerial intelligence.

“Our new work with the Army’s [PM SAI] represents an important step forward in the expansion of our C4ISR and Intelligence markets,” Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO, said Monday.

CACI will also provide sensor integration and sustainment services for 32 GR/CS signals intelligence systems and subsystems to the Army.

The PM SAI, located at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, uses the GR/CS system to map signals to locate enemy forces in the battlefield.

John Mengucci, CACI’s chief operating officer and president of U.S. operations, said the company aims to help warfighters gain an advantage by utilizing signals and electronics intelligence technologies.
