CAE Inc. has been selected to develop operation support services for Caverton Helicopters’ training center in Africa over a six-year period.
CAE will work beginning in mid 2015 to maintain and operate the training facility that is being constructed in Lagos, Nigeria, CAE said Wednesday.
“We look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with Caverton to support the growing pilot training needs in the region,†said Nick Leontidis, CAE group president of civil simulation products, training and services.
CAE will provide full-flight simulator, a CAE 7000XR Series Boeing 737 NG FFS and two CAE Simfinity integrated trainers.
The commercial aviation training center will be built to accommodate six simulator bays.
