Raytheon logo_EbizA Raytheon-commissioned report has found that many car original equipment manufacturers consider innovative learning technologies in customer-facing staff training to be a useful business growth strategy.

Mark Oliver, Raytheon Professional Services managing director for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, said 45 percent of respondents associate technology-driven instruction to direct revenue growth.

“In addition, top learning companies are four times more likely to report improved staff motivation and engagement, as well as increased speed of response to business change,” he added.

The Driving Innovation in the Dealership Training for the Automotive Sector report, which collected responses from 52 OEMs representing over 40 carmakers from around the world, noted other benefits for technology-enabled dealerships, including workforce productivity, customer satisfaction and business goals alignment.
