BuildingA defense company has signed a 10-year lease agreement for an office property being developed by Corporate Office Properties Trust in Hunstville, Alabama.

The unnamed contractor has leased 131,600 square feet of office space at the Redstone Gateway mixed-use complex and is scheduled to occupy the building in the third quarter of 2015, COPT said Friday.

“Attracting a second major defense contractor to Redstone Gateway firmly establishes the project as a desirable location from which strategic tenants can serve Redstone Arsenal’s important missions,” said Roger Waesche Jr., COPT president and chief executive.

The Redstone Gateway complex will house five office buildings stretching over 500,000 square feet, according to COPT.
