MAXIMUS has launched a new program management tool for states to meet requirements for implementing and expanding Medicaid programs.
The company designed DecisionPoint to consolidate, validate and analyze data from different sources to provide Medicaid program managers a full view of application processes, MAXIMUS said Tuesday.
Bruce Caswell, president and general manager of MAXIMUS Health Services, said the company wants DecisionPoint to help Medicaid directors streamline program management operations and identify applicants for the proper category of services.
DecisionPoint works to place members in the right Medicaid categories, centralize enrollment processes for service providers, implement programs through the Health Insurance Premium Programs and resolve eligibility concerns of applicants.
MAXIMUS also wants DecisionPoint clients to be able to view entire operations through a single dashboard and automate data aggregation and analysis tasks from multiple sources through the DecisionPoint business intelligence engine.
The company plans introduce the DecisionPoint suite at the Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference in Denver.
