CSC has integrated a new delivery and capability option into its hybrid cloud solution to address specific demands for additional public cloud and managed services.

The company’s Hybrid Cloud Services with VMware vCloud Air offers basic enterprise-grade capabilities that come with flexible computing and storage capacity, CSC said Monday.

Customer-driven flexibility of managed cloud services aims to allow enterprises to benefit from fully governed services on a per-need basis, said Eric Pulier, vice president and general manager of CSC’s cloud business unit.

“We are excited to add VMware’s vCloud Air into CSC’s managed hybrid cloud offering via the CSC Agility Platform,” he added.

CSC simultaneously rolled out a new cloud migration tool for transitioning on-premises data center workloads to VMware vCloud Air.
