Laura Presciutti: Unisys Provides Enterprise Support with People Computing System

Unisys has started work to identify the devices and business processes of clients in order to gain insights into their attitude toward information technology.

Laura Presciutti, director of portfolio marketing for the global managed services division of Unisys, said Wednesday “people computing is the enablement of the Unisys strategy.”

“There is a science to end-user support, people computing brings together people, processes and technology to make things easy for the end user,” she added.

Presciutti said developing personas that reside in the enterprise, identifying trends using data analytics and creating a service catalogue through which end users could tap into on-demand services constitute the people computing.

“We provide you and your employees an enterprise service portal that delivers employees self-services to fix a problem or order the right tools and applications when they need them,” Presciutti said.

She said various services such as hosted cloud, storage and virtual workspace running under Unisys’ ITIL-based delivery framework work to consolidate services worldwide.
