AT&T has launched a cloud-based storage platform with federal security requirement compliance features designed for government agencies.
The multi-tenant cloud offering incorporates features, policies, capabilities and EMC Atmos technology tools that are built as similar to AT&T’s commercial cloud platform, the company said Tuesday.
“Our new STaaS for Government offer delivers the key attributes Federal buyers require and allows them to move to the cloud with ease and confidence,” said Kay Kapoor, president of AT&T’s government solutions business.
The storage platform features separate storage towers for federal agency clients and a separate cloud to hold government data.
Government agencies that use the cloud storage hold an RSA hard token for two-factor verification.
