Carpathia Recommends Steps to Find Enterprise’s ‘Best Fit Cloud’

CarpathiaCarpathia has proposed a series of steps for companies to discover what they see as a suitable cloud strategy for their business.

The company released an infographic on Wednesday that recommends focusing on cloud deployment goals based on what benefits an organization wants to gain.

Carpathia believes companies should develop a migration path in a secure environment after conducting an inventory of existing assets.

The company also calls on enterprises to continue complying with security regulations and match requirements with the right combination of private, public or hybrid cloud.

Organizations must also partner with vendors with knowledge of the industry, their core business and technology, and fulfill operational needs by setting service level agreements, Carpathia says.

The infographic notes a Forrester Research study that indicates the public cloud market could grow $191 billion by 2020.
