Doug Smith - Oceus, ExecutiveMosaicIt was announced that under mutually agreeable terms that Doug Smith has left Oceus Networks as chief executive officer.

Smith commented to GovCon Executive that it is an appropriate time for this transition:

“Oceus has successfully made the transition from commercial wireless technology provider within Ericsson Inc. to what the company is today. The leader in LTE based wireless command and control networks for the Department of Defense as well as an emerging leader in solutions for public safety.”

Smith also told GovCon Executive that he looks forward to new opportunities and plans to continue his pursuit of bringing the “transformational potential” of broadband wireless to government and industry.
