Linda Boles, formerly chief strategist for Cisco’s U.S. public sector healthcare innovation and business development, has joined ViON Corp. as director of healthcare strategies and business development.
Boles most recently led a Cisco team to deliver technologies and approaches for patient safety and care management to federal, state and local healthcare agencies, ViON said Wednesday.
“Ms. Boles is a member of an elite class of healthcare IT consultants and given the list of companies and organization that she has successfully worked with, we are genuinely fortunate to have her on the ViON team,†said Tom Frana, CEO of ViON.
The 20-plus-year healthcare IT veteran previously worked with the Department of Defense Military Health System, Health and Human Services, Social Security Administration, state health departments, academic medical centers and various hospitals.
Boles also held executive roles at CliniComp, Webmedx, US Medical and Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur before she joined Cisco.
