TeleCommunication Systems has partnered with CDI Engineering Solutions‘ infrastructure services business unit L.R. Kimball to offer cybersecurity services for government customer networks at the state and local levels.
The team will work to review and assess policies and procedures, network security and security awareness training functions for public sector agencies, TCS said Monday.
Drew Morin, TCS’ senior vice president and chief technology officer, said the companies aim “to support universities, emergency communication centers, social services, and similar entities with hardening the defense of their critical infrastructure against cyber-attacks.”
TCS and L.R. Kimball aim to leverage their infrastructure and communication systems portfolio with cyber operations systems to serve public safety, government, military, education and telecommunications clients.
