Jason Parry, vice president of client solutions at consulting and integration firm Force 3, believes “software-defined everything” provides value and return on investment for enterprises, ChannelPro Network reported Oct. 10.

Parry told the publication that companies have adopted SDE tools for automated information technology tasks and provisioning work, Samuel Greengard reports.

He recommends that channel professionals focus on specific networking and storage categories in order to identify areas that can return dividends, according to the report.

“A lot of the systems that organizations deploy today are extremely siloed. Because of the complexity, many organizations are slow to deploy new solutions,” Parry told ChannelPro Network.

He also called on users to match the technology with business requirements and results, Greengard reports.
