Joseph Loretto, formerly U.S. resident partner for Grant Thornton‘s Brazil business, has taken a new role as audit partner and International Business Center director for the Americas and Central region.
Loretto will support engagement between member firms of Grant Thornton International and oversee international business opportunities as an IBC director, the company said Monday.
“He will be integral in continuing to strengthen our Americas IBC and GTIL member firm relationships,” said Jason Ramey, head of Grant Thornton’s U.S. IBCs and national managing partner for international client services.
Loretto, who has 15 years of public accounting experience and is a certified public accountant in Texas, has served in other international assignments for Grant Thornton at the firm’s offices in Beijing and Melbourne.
He is currently based in Houston.
