A Deloitte-built platform for managing unemployment benefits in New Mexico has won the National Association of State Chief Information Officers’ 2014 Digital Government Award in the government-to-citizen category.
Deloitte said Thursday the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions received the NASCIO award for the agency’s integrated unemployment insurance tax and claims system.
“This UI project is an excellent example of how Deloitte works with clients to address many of their most complex, critical issues; achieve sustainable results; and create lasting impact for the citizens they serve,” said Mike Phelan, Deloitte Consulting principal.
New Mexico’s UI management infrastructure is designed to help state labor personnel, employers and claimants access electronic documents in real-time as well as historical claims data.
Health insurance exchange portals Deloitte built for the states of Washington and Kentucky received nominations in the same category of the NASCIO Digital Government Awards program.
