Cae logo_EbizCAE has expanded its pilot training complex in Dallas with the addition of new training programs and a 60,000-square-foot business aviation training center near the Dallas Fort Worth Airport.

The new CAE Dallas East facility brings CAE’s total training area in the region to 486,000 square feet that includes 114 classrooms, 80 briefing rooms and 40 flight simulators, the company said Tuesday.

Nick Leontidis, group president for civil simulation and training, said the existing facility now offers pilot training for the Gulfstream 450/550, King Air 350 and Legacy aircraft.

He noted that the opening of CAE Dallas East marks the company’s 30th year in Dallas.

CAE said the new business aviation training center can include an additional 16 classrooms, 12 briefing rooms and eight simulators to support training for Boeing Business Jet B737NG, Learjet 45, Learjet 55, Falcon 10 and Legacy.
