Peter Beange Named Northrop Director of European Commercial Operations; Andrew Tyler Comments

northrop-Grumman_BLUEPeter Beange, a more than 30-year defense and aerospace industry veteran, has joined Northrop Grumman as director for the company’s European commercial business unit.

He will be based in London and aim to guide the organization in developing contracting, supply chain, capture and customer service strategies in the European market, Northrop said Tuesday.

Andrew Tyler, Northrop’s Europe chief executive officer, said the company appointed Beange as it seeks to grow its presence and offerings across the region.

Beange most recently led the U.K. cybersecurity operations of Airbus Defence & Space.

He managed the U.K. defense ministry’s core network services as well as its command support and intelligence solutions and information and communications technology programs during his 27-year career with the agency.

He holds a master’s degree in defense studies from Kings College London.
