Raytheon logo_EbizRaytheon has developed a wearable computing product for military commanders and deployed soldiers to view both intelligence and operational data in real-time.

The Intel-Ops device is built to combine the firm’s Air Warrior data processing technology and the DCGS-A Lite architecture designed to exploit intelligence in areas where bandwidth is limited, Raytheon said Tuesday.

Raytheon introduced the wearable computer at the Association of the United States Army’s annual conference and exhibit in Washington.

Todd Probert, vice president of Raytheon’s mission support and modernization business, said the company designed the integrated tactical system with the goal of increasing warfighters’ situational awareness.
