Cubic Corp. is one of the companies that Victory Media named in the 2015 Military Friendly Employer list based on a survey of its veteran support programs and policies, including recruitment and retention of veterans.

This marks the second year that the company has received this designation, Cubic said Tuesday.

“Veterans possess the drive, self-discipline and problem-solving skills that are essential for our industry,” said Bradley Feldmann, president and CEO of Cubic.

Feldmann added that at least 30 percent of the company’s workers are military veterans.

Ernst & Young tested data collected from the survey based on Victory Media’s established criteria, weightings and methodology to determine the top qualified companies in the annual Military Friendly Employer list.

“This year’s group of companies reported hiring over 155,000 service members and spouses over the last 12 months, representing a 35 percent increase over last year and an average of 15 percent of total new hires,” said Sean Collins, a Victory Media vice president.

Victory Media will feature Cubic and other companies included in the 2015 Military Friendly Employer list in the December issue of G.I. Jobs.
