CGI Federal Wins CGP Best Veteran Hiring Program, Excellence in Partnership Award

CGI-logo - ExecutiveMosaicCGI‘s federal sector business has received an Excellence in Partnership award from the Coalition for Government Procurement, which also named CGI Federal as having the Best Veteran Hiring Program.

The company said Wednesday the coalition presented the award during a ceremony in Washington and noted CGI’s program for hiring, subcontracting and teaming with military veterans.

James Peake, former Department of Veterans Affairs secretary and retired U.S. Army officer, leads CGI Federal as president.

CGI said it has also targeted to hire at least 100 veterans this year and received certification from the Virginia Department of Veterans Services’ Virginia Values Veterans program.

The company supports veteran-focused charities such as the Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Homefront.
