Deloitte has scheduled the fifth session of its career and leadership development program for veterans and service members between November 13 and 15 as part of its veteran support efforts under Deloitte University.
The firm says the Career Opportunity Redefinition & Exploration Leadership Program aims to help recently retired and soon-to-retire soldiers transition from the military to a corporate environment.
CORE focuses on networking strategies, strengths development and communication techniques and provides opportunities to interact with Deloitte and other industry leaders as well as program alumni.
Based in Westlake, Texas, Deloitte University’s CORE Leadership Program is open to service members who have a bachelor’s degree and served in the military for four to eight years.
Deloitte says the program is part of its response to President Barack Obama’s Joining Forces initiative to help service members re-enter the civilian workforce.
The company also holds Warrior Games and Deloitte Day Open Houses for veterans.
