IBM-logo EbizIBM has unveiled new mobile infrastructure analytics and mobile virtualization desktop-as-a-service products under its mobility services portfolio to support companies that adopt mobile technology for business.

These offerings work to help the enterprise monitor the performance of its IT infrastructure, manage application deployment to mobile devices and secure mobile access to enterprise data, IBM said Tuesday.

“The trifecta of mobile, cloud and analytics services are turning the mobile device into a powerful business tool that lets companies quickly use them for sales, marketing and employee productivity,” said Rich Esposito, general manager of IBM’s mobility services segment.

“Now these businesses need the tools that let them manage the performance of their applications to make sure they deliver impactful results from any individual’s device of choice.”

The new analytics mobility product features an IBM Research-developed analytics correlation engine built to identify performance issues with mobile devices as well as the Tealeaf CX Mobile software to oversee mobile user experience.

The desktop-as-a-service offering facilitates virtualization functions for mobile devices and includes a prepackaged subscription service available on IBM Cloud.
