Mark Russell, vice president of engineering, technology and mission assurance at Raytheon, has been selected to join the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers fellowship program.
The IEEE Fellow committee recognized Russell’s work on projects to develop radio frequency and microwave technologies for national security and defense applications, Raytheon said Thursday.
IEEE awards the fellow designation to members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and achievements in specialized areas such as aerospace, computing, telecommunications, biomedical engineering, consumer electronics and electric power.
The professional organization has 400,000 members across 160 countries, according to Raytheon.
