leidos_purpleLeidos has been awarded a potential $38 million contract to help the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency develop software designed to manage fuel requirements at military bases worldwide.

The company said Monday its Varec subsidiary will provide FuelsManager Defense software development and applications support to DLA’s energy organization.

Mary Craft, a group president at Leidos, said the company will support agency’s fuel operations globally through Varec technology.

Work also covers sustainment of Base–Level Support Application FuelsManager Defense, FuelsManager Defense – Express and FuelsManager Defense Enterprise platforms.

The contract contains seven base months and four option years.
