LeidosLogoLeidos has received a recognition from the Tennessee Veterans Business Association for the company’s work to hire and retain veterans.

TVBA will present the Veterans Work award to Leidos at the 2015 TVBA business and education exposition at the Holiday Inn Knoxville Downtown World’s Fair Park on Jan. 26 and 27, the company said Tuesday.

Leidos runs a military veteran outreach program called Operation MVP to identify and recruit military veterans in collaboration with military transition centers, military associations and veteran organizations.

The Operation MVP team also takes part in career development and networking events and coordinates with military transition offices, Labor Department and veteran non-profit and membership groups.
