The market report singled out the electro-optics subsector fueling demand for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance equipment in the defense, aerospace and homeland security segments, Research and Markets said Wednesday.

Electro-optics is used in bomb tracking and missile detection sensors and radars outfitted on ships and land transports.
