Agilex has agreed to offer professional services for U.S. government customers of an Amazon Web Services cloud offering.
The partnership allows Agilex to deliver consulting, development, engineering and operational services to agencies that aim to leverage the AWS GovCloud (US) system, Agilex said Tuesday.
AWS designed the GovCloud region platform for public-sector organizations to transfer sensitive workloads into a cloud infrastructure while meeting government security policies and compliance requirements.
Tim Hoechst, chief technology officer at Agilex, said the company also seeks to help federal agencies address system cost and scalability issues as an AWS government partner.
Agilex also provides information technology support services through the General Services Administration‘s Schedule 70 contract vehicle as well as through the Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 Small Business and the U.S. Navy‘s SeaPort-e vehicles.
