CGI Federal President James Peake will be among the keynote speakers at the American Telemedicine Association’s 2015 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles this spring.
Peake, vice president of ATA, will lead the opening plenary on May 3 with ATA President Yulun Wang, the association said Wednesday.
Peake is a retired lieutenant general who served as U.S. Army surgeon general from 2000 to 2004.
He was also Veterans Affairs secretary under the Bush administration for two years.
The ATA conference runs a trade show that features the latest in advanced remote medical technology from vendors in the telemedicine, telehealth and mHealth sectors.
The forums will focus on building networks and interactive learning, with sessions within 13 education tracks available to attendees.
