VMware has received certification under the government“™s Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program to provide cloud services to public sector customers, Data Center Knowledge reported Wednesday.

VMware“™s partner Carpathia provides the government cloud service from its data centers, according to the report.
The government intends for FedRAMP to procure cloud services based on a list of pre-evaluated vendors, Sverdlik reports.
VMware integrates its data center for individual customers and multiple tenants, the report says.
