cybersecurityQinetiQ‘s Cyveillance subsidiary has partnered with Centripetal Networks to combine the former’s threat intelligence streaming technology and the latter’s RuleGate platform to provide customers with actionable information on cyber threats.

Cyveillance said Monday the partnership works to enable RuleGate to operationalize Cyveillance’s feeds on phishing and malicious URLs and suspect domain names and quickly activate security policies to catch network threats in real time.

“With the ever-growing number of attacks that make it past traditional perimeter security systems and devices, it is critical for organizations to get advance knowledge of potential threats through open source threat intelligence,” said Cyveillance President Scott Kaine.

The company said Cyveillance feeds collect and analyze data from various sources to produce actionable cyber intelligence, while RuleGate works as an active network defense system that provides attack visualizations and analytics.
