Neel Mehta
Kris Hekking assumed his current role as division chief financial officer for Dell‘s federal government solutions business in 2013.
He is a certified public accountant with two decades of experience in mergers and acquisitions, GovCon compliance, financial systems implementation, public accounting, SOX/internal controls, and financial planning, modeling and assessment.
Prior to Dell, Hekking was director of accounting and treasurer at Sierra Nevada and spent 14 years with the National Contract Management Association.
He also served as a vice president and controller at L-3 Communications for close to three years, then joined General Dynamics to occupy the role of senior finance director at the information technology business unit from 2008 to 2013.
Hekking holds his bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University-Fullerton.
