Lockheed Martin will purchase commercial three-dimensional printers from Vader Systems worth up to $400,000 each, Buffalo Business First reported Tuesday.
Dan Miner writes Lockheed will also give feedback on the 3-D printer's performance as a development customer of Vader Systems.
Scott Vader, president of Vader Systems, told the publication the company intends to get its technology started with a company such as Lockheed, which he says has “huge demand and is technically aggressive.“
Vader Systems is also in talks with another development customer, according to the report.
The startup business is seeking $600,000 in seed funding from the Buffalo investment community, Miner reports.
