PV Puvvada, president of Unisys‘ federal systems business, believes that coalitions or partnerships are important to drive the company’s mission as he talks about his first few weeks in his current role, FCW reported Thursday.
Troy Schneider writes that Puvvada has pointed to collaboration with government and industry partners through membership in groups such as the Professional Services Council and Industry Advisory Council.
“We cannot solve the [big] problems as an individual company,” Puvvada told the publication.
“But leveraging the strength of the industry or the strength of the government, we can change things…. It doesn’t happen unless you collaborate, unless you share what you have.”
The report said Puvvada, who served as acting president of the Unisys federal business before his appointment to the full-time position, also continues to work on growing the business through its contracts with agencies such as the General Services Administration, Internal Revenue Service and Interior Department.
