WWT to Resell Polatis’ Optical Switches in Enterprise, Gov’t Sectors

network security stock photoWorld Wide Technology will offer Polatis’ optical switching systems to customers in the enterprise and government sectors under a reseller agreement between both companies.

WWT will deploy Polatis’ optical switches with Cisco in a retailer’s multivendor optical network and protect the network in a 16-slot, layer 2/3 multiservice platform, Polatis said Tuesday.

Polatis and WWT are also collaborating to fufill the video and intelligent cross-connect application demand of service providers.

WWT provides clients access to equipment, training and insight via its technology center, where customers, partners and employees work together to design, build, educate, demonstrate and deploy technology products and integrated services.
