cyberBAE Systems Plc‘s applied intelligence business has expanded its enterprise managed security services portfolio for the North American market to include new managed advanced threat detection and incident response offerings.

“As cyber attacks become increasingly sophisticated, large enterprises are looking for additional safeguards to bolster defenses,” Jim Anderson, president of the Americas at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, said Wednesday.

“Cyber security is all about reacting faster.”

The company added that the threat detection service based on its CyberReveal platform will support risk reduction through analytics, while the incident response service will work to contain the impact of attacks to speed up recovery.

These services will augment BAE’s existing MSS offerings for network security monitoring, security device management, vulnerability management and log management.
