Computer Sciences Corp. has been selected to co-manage a local patient care coordination center in Trafford, U.K.
CSC will provide patient communications through a unified system, perform clinical workflow services and analyze care delivery performance in collaboration with the British National Health Service’s Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group, CSC said Wednesday.
Philippe Houssiau, vice president of U.K. healthcare at CSC, said the care center is intended to help enhance care coordination “across primary, acute, community and mental health sectors.”
“We are delighted to be working with the PCCC team to deliver what will be a new standard of care coordination for the Trafford population,” added Houssiau.
Trafford CCG is tasked to commission healthcare services in the metropolitan borough north of England.
