Information Builders, MapR Technologies Partner on BI, Hadoop Distribution Services

partnershipInformation Builders has entered into an alliance with MapR Technologies to provide enterprise customers with a combination of the former’s business intelligence and analytics software and MapR’s Apache Hadoop distribution platform.

The companies said Wednesday the partnership works to manage data integrity to generate insights from “impactful” analytics.

Gerald Cohen, president and CEO of Information Builders, said the company’s integration, analytics and data quality technologies combined with MapR’s data platform support the creation of data warehouses and data lakes.

“[This] partnership extends our global go-to-market strategy, enabling organizations to take immediate action on data ‘as it happens,'” added Steve Wooledge, vice president of product marketing at MapR.
