American Industrial Systems has rolled out new human machine interface systems and touch panel displays that can be attached to pharmacy automation systems and drug dispensing devices.
The company expects the integration of Web-based HMI touch panels with automated medication dispensing systems to help nurses, pharmacists and other health workers work toward faster workflows, minimized medication errors, improved drug data monitoring and lower inventory costs, AIS said Monday.
The open HMI panel series includes the Compact, Standard and Premium, which have illumination systems and expandable HMI platforms, and carry international regulatory marks and certifications.
The company also designed the devices for use in Internet of Things and machine-to-machine applications.
