partnershipBigLever Software will continue its work with General Dynamics‘ C4 systems business on the U.S. Army‘s Consolidated Product-line Management program under a five-year, $415 million contract for the Live Training Transformation product line.

BigLever said Monday the CPM Next contract calls on the General Dynamics-led team to provide product-line engineering and management services for LT2 in support of the Army’s combat training.

The team will work to rapidly integrate and deploy new training functions through automated PLE approaches in an effort to boost soldiers’ combat readiness, BigLever added.

The company said it started the work with General Dynamics for CPM in 2009, when the contract was awarded.

The CPM program aims to drive efficiency in the Army’s product development processes.
