Liteye-Unmanned Experts Team Unveils ‘Powered by DRS’ Thermal Imaging UAV Payload

Liteye Systems and Unmanned Experts have partnered to deliver a thermal imaging payload for unmanned aerial vehicles that features DRS Technologies‘ Tamarisk thermal camera core.

The companies said Tuesday the Aquila Micro payload has a “Powered by DRS” accreditation and includes a built-in automatic shutter, DRS’ Image Contrast Enhancement tool and three athermalized, all-weather lens options.

Aquila Micro is already available for shipping, the companies said.
