MarkLogic, General Networks to Combine Database, Content Management Tools; Jeff Faraday Comments

partnershipMarkLogic and General Networks have forged an alliance in an effort to help corporate clients manage their data and enhance decision-making processes.

Under the partnership, MarkLogic will integrate its Enterprise NoSQL database system with General Networks’ content management platforms, General Networks said Tuesday.

“Coordination with companies like General Networks are essential to our success as they understand today’s data and content requirements, and have the insight and technology best suited to help customers meet their needs,” said Jeff Faraday, senior director of alliances at MarkLogic.

MarkLogic NoSQL database manages, searches and stores structured and unstructured data and works to speed up integration of heterogeneous information.
