MeriTalk has introduced three new cloud computing tools intended to help federal government customers adopt cloud services in compliance with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The Gov Cloud Shopper initiative is designed for government buyers to estimate cloud cost based on data from FedRAMP-approved cloud service providers, MeriTalk said Monday.
Under the GCS initiative, federal agencies define their cloud requirements the cloud cost estimator, select specific cloud services through the cloud requirements designer and submit requirements outline and request quotes.
“Simple is better than complex – GCS makes cloud pricing transparent, and makes it easy to specify and purchase FedRAMP-compliant cloud offerings,“ said Steve O'Keeffe, founder of MeriTalk.
The company also launched FedRAMP Forward, a working group composed with FedRAMP CSPs and third-party assessment organizations that work to inform cloud adoption across government.
FedRAMP411 is another cloud initiative meant to provide news, information and insight into FedRAMP.
