TextronTextron has introduced an unmanned systems training course catalog designed for both military and commercial customers.

The coursework covers topics such as basic aviation and information technology, platform-specific operations and mission and maintenance considerations, Textron said Monday.

John Hayward, a Textron senior vice president and general manager, said the catalog is designed to “equip students with a broad foundation of knowledge for the best operational outcomes, customized rapidly to the application.”

“We then work with our customers to create a sustainment training program including training support documentation, as well as the assignment and instruction of resident trainers,” added Hayward.

The company’s training personnel will work to customize the program’s language in accordance with the customer’s choice, skill level and platforms.

Textron will also conduct training at the locations set by clients and provide instruction on the culture, regulations and customs of the area where the training will occur.
