CTC & Affiliate Form Alliance With Varley Group, Varley USA; Ed Sheehan Comments

Ed-SheehanConcurrent Technologies Corp. and its affiliate Enterprise Ventures Corp. have entered into an alliance with Australia-based Varley Group and its Varley USA subsidiary.

Varley Group said Monday the partnership works to expand its aerospace and defense, specialized vehicles and electric motor and generator technology businesses in the U.S.

“We look forward to developing a long-term relationship with Varley,” said Ed Sheehan, CTC president and CEO.

“The companies share a common mission, set of values, and work ethic that will serve as a solid foundation for collaboration,” added Varley USA CEO Matt Hederstrom.

Fluor Plans to Support NuScale Reactor Project Through Potential $1.35B DOE Funding Vehicle

The Department of Energy has cleared a funding vehicle worth potentially $1.355B for a public power consortium-led project that includes construction of a small modular reactor plant by NuScale Power, which Fluor holds a majority stake in. Fluor said Monday it plans to support Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems and NuScale in establishing a clean-energy SMR system through UAMPS' Carbon Free Power Project.
