Lockheed Martin has received a one-year, $61.8 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to help manage engineering and testing centers for Aegis ballistic missile defense systems.
The Navy exercised an option for Lockheed to continue to provide operational, maintenance and technical support services at the military service’s Combat Systems Engineering Development Site, Naval Systems Computing Center and SPY-1A Test Facility, the Defense Department said Friday.
DoD noted the contract includes support for Aegis-related foreign military sale agreements with Japan and Spain.
Lockheed will perform work in Moorestown, New Jersey, through June 2016.
The Navy is obligating $24,138,570 at the time of award from fiscal 2015 shipbuilding, conversion and FMS funds.
