2014 Louis Berger Logo - Color Red - Vertical-jpg copyThe U.S. Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Louis Berger‘s Hawthorne Services division a 19-year, $14.8 million contract to provide operations and maintenance services at fuel facilities located on Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Hawthorne Services will help DLA Energy build, maintain and run government-owned/contractor-operated hubs for bulk and retail fuel storage as well as manage government-owned, contractor-operated bulk retail and aviation refueling centers at the base, Louis Berger said Monday.

The division started to design the facilities last month and is scheduled to begin construction work in July.

Louis Berger was awarded a 19-year, $21.6 million contract in April to provide similar support services at Fort Bliss, Texas.
