David King, the newly-appointed CEO at Dynetics, said the company has been “making great progress” on its initiative to enter the hardware market, AL reported Wednesday.

“I want us to continue to do great work for our customers,” he told AL’s Lucy Berry in a discussion of his priorities and goals for Dynetics.

“Maintaining the way we do business and the way we treat customers and employees is going to be one of my most important focuses,” King said.

King was announced  as CEO of the Huntsville, Alabama-based engineering, applied science and information technology firm early in July.
